I have only had my s2 for about 3 months, but allready the death toll is rising!
First in the headlights was a frightened little suicidal bunny, with a face like a cross between Eugene from BB and Esther rantzen.
Damage sustained : Number plate came off and a hole big enough to put your hand through

A couple of nights in the garage after work and I had it looking as good as new again.
Then, saturday afternoon a kamikaze pheasant decided to meet its maker under the front of the car and undo all my repair work grrrrrr
This time its a major job, its up on the ramp, all the undertray is off, and theres a crack the size of Christina Aguileras right up the front end!

Anyone else had battles with lemming-like british wildlife? whats the worst thing you ever hit and the most damage done? how much did it cost to repair if you didnt do the work yourself?

Microlight kevlar bull bars for an s2? anyone make them? lol lol just kidding!

A couple of years ago, after a few particularly "enthusiastic" drives on the West Coast of Scotland, I began to notice a bad whiff whenever I got in my (S2) Elise. Having established it wasn't a flatulence problem - and being unable to see anything obvious in the car, I decided to let my dealer have a look. Turned out to be a starling (at least, I think that's what the local coroner concluded) which had met my car head-on - and had come off second best !! Still have the dealer invoice - £74 that bloody bird cost me. And it was worth every penny, may it Rest in Pieces !!!

Just one pheasant

Overtaking another car when our pheasant takes off out of hedgerow too close to take any avoiding action but suicidal noddy was coming up quick (I was doing around ish 60 m’lud) heading for centre of windscreen.

Decided that discretion was called for and ducked down behind the dash (it was a straight road and did not like the thought of a face full o pheasant).

Sickening crunch as it hit – I jumped back up to see where I was going to find the cockpit full of joke like pillow-fight feathers that hung in the air for a second before being sucked out.

With all to show on the windscreen was greasy mark with some cartilage.

Put foot back down and ticked off one more of my nine lives
