Watch theft documentary

If you didn't know how the scum work doing this criminal activity the BBC have a documentary tonight on about it.

It's rather strange how accessible and open they seem about the activity so maybe they are deciding its too risky and moving onto other enterprises.

Nah, they know it's a good earner and they are very unlikely to be caught as there are so few Met police to catch them.

...and when they are caught, the prisons are full, so they'll be on bail for up to 2 years, and they'll only get a short sentence, so will come out and start earning big money again.

For them, it's a no brainer. £5k for a nights work or minimum wage in a st job. It's just too much of a temptation. Plus a complete lack of a moral compass, and listening to them, zero empathy.

Lets all turn a blind eye to this little cottage industry for a certain demographic.

Sounds like easy picking when the police are stretched as thin as they are and the courts don't really care to hand out proper sentences. Going out in London wearing an expensive watch sounds like asking for trouble these days.

Exactly, and there is a lot more money and virtually no chance of being caught putting a few watches in your luggage compared to smuggling drugs or cash.

Probably go watch thieving on Thursday or Friday, that'll leave the rest of the week to rob bikes and ram raid shops, they don't have time for proper jobs.
