Very sad to see this but unsurprising; in a way, am surprised he made 65.

Great singer; even better songwriter, a skill with weaving words right up there with any of his lyrical countrymen.

Will lift a glass to him tonight.

The Pogues was the first band I saw live, aged 13 on a french exchange trip. It was a bit of an eye opener!
