Hi everyone. I have an X reg (2000) E46 330i SE Touring auto, Blue, 112,000 miles with some service history that I have decided to sell, it does need some work and has been stored for the last few years. It starts and runs with no issues, just needs some tlc and I know I will find the right person that would want it. It’s very hard to put a price on it currently so can anyone help please? No rusty wheel arches, slight bit of rust on the boot but nothing major, passenger window doesn’t work and the central locking needs repairing.

Any help much appreciated! Thank you!

What age and mileage, manual or auto, colour combo, is it an SE or Sport?

Getting a fresh MOT on it would probably help.

Cheers

Thank for your reply, I have just updated my post to include all this. I’ll definitely put through a mot before the sale.

£1500 with a new MOT is a good place to start.

If it's in overall good condition with SH and you'll put a fresh MOT on it; for me £1500 seems too cheap

I'd pop it up on Car & Classic (free), Gumtree (free) and eBay classifieds for 30 days (£20 IIRC) for £2k and barter down from there, taking no less than £1500

Far too cheap IMO.

Then buy it and sell it again for a profit.

Money/mouth etc.

I sold an E46 325i touring two years ago, Auto SE, 108k, 52 plate, huge history with it. Mechanically it was great, body was starting to show age. Sold for £1,550 within a week of being for sale.

Given that used prices have gone up, I'd expect that to be closer to £2,000 now.
