Hi everyone, first time posting on here, Ive had my 2012 c2s for over 18 months now and with it due its next service next year (12 year service) I was wondering if its best to try and re introduce it to the network and buy an extended warranty for piece of mind or continue with indy servicing and a warranty with a company such as motor easy etc.
I am also keeping in mind resale value if I have to be in the unfortunate position to move the beauty on in the future.
it has 60k on it and has full OPC history apart from the last service by Ashgood Porsche in 2022.
Thanks in advance 😁

Probably best to speak to Ashgoods. It’s getting to the age where things may need attending to that are not covered by a warranty.

If you are thinking about a warranty you won’t get a better one than the official Porsche one. If you get roadside assistance with it and the car has to be recovered you will get a loan car which is worth something. Yes OPC servicing is more expensive but in my experience (I run three cars with it) I think it’s good value and OPC’s service dept is very good.

Thanks for that, Ive heard good things about the OPC warranty, the previous owner had one on this car in 2019 after the 111 point check.
will they re issue a warranty if its been previously serviced outside the network though?

my 2012 C2S has been in OPC warranty from new and when it comes around in May next year I am going to pay for the three year option which takes it up to 15 years old.

Have used it several times (replacing several items in the vacuum system one year / then another year high pressure fuel pump (including recovery from France and about a month of hire car) and has been amazing and I wouldn't run the car without it tbh).

I think you have to own it for three months and 111 point check? Maybe serviced too. I could be wrong though ! Just give your OPC a call.
