Last time i visited the dentist in England i had 5 fillings and a spit and polish and it cost me over £200.
Three years ago i went to the beautiful island of Cyprus (for the 29th time) and the front of one of my teeth fell of, found a dentist, went to see him, spent 40 minutes in the chair (the same day),fixed it , cost me £32, what a bargain.
Now i`m on his books and i see him once a year when i`m on holiday.

Worth thinking about

That is what I do on my Xmas holidays back home... at least I understand what they are talking about! Last time it was not too pleasant since I could not eat any Xmas sweets...

The missus spat out a filling on honeymoon in andalucia. Found the local dentist, who checked, and found another couple of small cavities that needed filling as well (no vixpy!). He spoke very little english, and me very little spanish, but he managed to communicate it was €90. Bargain!

Did a bloody good painless job as well.

Mate at work cracked a tooth just before a trip to Bangalore - it developed into an abcess with serious problems. So, she had root canal treatment and a super dooper crown fitted, great dentist immaculate treatment rooms etc. The cost? all in - she got change out of, wait for it, 70 quid.
