As per the thread title, has anyone on here ever used the BMW indy Iridium Engineering? They're now based near Hedge End, but were West End (Southampton) some time ago. I'd appreciate any thoughts.

Many thanks.

Ross.

Yes, many years ago (10 maybe?). He was a one man band at the time, just a no frills workshop.

Very happy with the work he did on my old 130i which, from memory, was a CDV delete, brake fluid change and alignment.

Did the subframe/floor weldings on my M Coupe and a friends with uprated pushes moons ago, decent job, pretty sure his name was Sean. Used to be forum member on E36coupe back in the day too.

Great to know, thanks. I have been using another very well reputed indy and have been happy with their work, aside from my headlights need resealing and they said no other choice aside from new units (which are around £1k each) - I'm surprised they haven't found anyone to reseal them....I have.....for £204 for the pair. I also asked them to quote for some work via email. They emailed back saying they'd email back a few days later....over 3 weeks ago.

They are also an hour's drive away each way, whereas Iridium are nearer 20 minutes, so I think from now I will go to them smile

I used my other indy because they quoted WAY cheaper for rod bearings etc than the place I'd used before (Brystone). I was happy with Brystone's work, but the amount they quoted was so far out of anyone else (over 2.5x!!!) I will never go back there.

Thanks.
