I was listening to Radio 5 Live on the way home from work, where they were talking to the "British Association of Plastic Surgeons". It struck me that such an organistion would have interesting initials!

Know of any other organisations whose initials form an interesting word?

True story,
When the change from Polys to universities was going on the proposed name of Newcastle Poly was going to be, the Central University of Newcastle upon Tyne.

A friend who went to Coventry Uni remembers the day that the Netball teams new kit arrived with their initials on ... only to realise that they really should have spent the money on the full "Coventry University Netball Team" name.
