This is a technical restriction where our back-end system is capped at 7 previous owners. We are looking into a fix for this.

We have fixed the technical issue that was causing this.

The number of previous keepers according to DVLA is 8, exclusive of the current owner

For clarity then it may make sense to state "previous owners" rather than simply "owners", as the number of owners (keepers) is 9.

Very little difference here, but someone could well think they're buying a 1 owner car based on your listings, when it fact it is 2. In this case it could well make a difference to a decision.

Hi,

I'm thinking about bidding. I've been digging around the forums and found and spoken to some of the previous owners. From speaking to them this cars had a couple of issues in the past that I'd be keen to know what the outcome has been if you know?

From the forum posts there's been more than one previous owner that's suffered with electrical issues surrounding the starter motor and battery drains. Are these issues still present or have they been rectified? What was done etc?

Also back in 2018 there was reported of the head gasket failing. I get that that's a while back now and the cars done a good 20k miles since then. But wanted to be sure there's no overheating or coolant loss issues etc.

Don't mean to knock the car or the seller as I've never seen it myself in person but wouldn't mind knowing as much as possible before potentially bidding.

Also the seller (alicat) doesn't accept PMs so if he/she reads this can you drop me a message as ideally I'd like to try and see the car before auction end.

The battery charges well and does not drain when sitting. I was also not aware of the head gasket issue previously so it must have been sorted. You’re welcome to come and have a look.
