The ACO are saying there is a new campsite called Prairie, any idea where it is?

Nope. The ACO have said nothing about location yet.

Well, we're booked there. Tetre Rouge Eppinettes etc had all gone when we logged in at 9.00am, The motorhome place doesn't seem to be available so it was this or Beausejour.

Looks to be one or more of these livestock fields if the map is accurate…

In addition, Cormier looks like this triangular scrap of land in the middle of nowhere, but ideally placed for midnight raids on the Mulsanne straight.

Arrivé à Prairie.....and yes,it is a horse field. Nice view at the moment into the next field, but not sure it will stay as there is activity with fences being put up. This is the motorhome section which appears separate to the larger general camping.

Looks good so far, what’s the closest track viewing spot from there?

It's not too far from porte cik entrance which is a short walk to
Virageford , just before the main straight, near the big wheel.

One point about Prairie. There are 2 bits - if you come in the way it is signposted the first section is a small field and meant to be only for motorhomes. The large site is further on. There is no connection between the two.

One English motorhome arrived yesterday and had a lot of difficulty as they wanted to mark off an area for 17 people, mixed Motorhomes and cars/tents. The staff were very difficult about it. They let them in eventually but really they want motorhomes in here and tents in the large area. Mixed groups arriving at different times may find it difficult.

To me it would have made sense to put the mixed groups in the large field but they seem to have allowed this group to take up 25% of the area so some motorhomes will need to go to the large bit if it was planned to be full.

On the ACO ticket resale site (who reads the small print ?) it states that GA tickets are required to access the campsite(s)
Will we be expected to be “barcoded/QR’d” in and out of the campsites on foot during the event ?

At sites like Epinettes they sometimes ask to see a ticket at the gate if you arrive on foot. No scanning in/out.

That’d be my thoughts too as there’s a “fan zone/big screen” there

Isn’t Mulsanne off limits to spectators?
