Hi all

Just had my long term hire car (460 days!) replaced by my company car so thought I'd do a little comparison thread on it if anyone is interested.

Had the C5 for 14 months, 13k miles. Really comfy, everyone that went in it said how nice the seats and ride were. Felt quite well built, nice interior. Really easy to drive and ideal for doing 2-300 miles a day when needed. Really quiet. Went in a mates cayenne on a road trip and I'd say the Citroen was quieter. Has physical buttons for main features which is really handy.

Downsides were fuel economy not great. Running in hybrid I'd get 75mpg or so until the electric ran out, then late 30s on petrol alone. App was rubbish. Would regularly have to restart multiple times. Stereo sounded good but not loud enough. In winter was only getting 14 miles from electric. That's rubbish.

Only had the Cupra a few days and done <200 miles so first impressions only. Really nice to drive. Nice interior, lots of gadgets. It's the 204PHEV and it's a lot quicker than I thought it'd be. Lovely seats. Noisier than the C5 but not too bad. Better stereo, louder. Love the heated steering wheel. The whole car feels quite special.

Downsides are small fuel tank and boot. Family Holidays will. Be a challenge. Doesn't seem as economical as the C5 but probably too early to say for sure. App really good but completely failed today. Very complicated, few physical buttons for key features.

Absolutely love the Cupra already though.

If people are interested ill add photos and update the thread as time passes.
