I’m sure we all have had a thought or two about a film you would like see made that you think would either sell well or just satisfy your curiosity.

Mine is quite simple.
I would love to see a film based on the Cliff Booth character (Brad Pitt in once upon a time in hollywood).
His back story leading up to the above. Seems a great all action character/war hero with a dark side!

What’s yours?

Some of Iain Banks culture books.

Micheal Moorcock’s Elric books.

The Wolf Brother series (I read them to my daughter but thought they were great).

When I was younger I really liked the Thomas Covenant novels (first trilogy).

There are many Sci fi and fantasy books and series that could be made into films, although it would need a decent budget to bring them to life.

Terry Pratchetts Discworld, but I don’t think it would end up well if anyone tried it. What I’ve seen of the TV adaptations don’t look great.

To be fair, nothing Sky ever make is good. 'Sky Original' just means ste.
In the right hands, TP stuff could work.

A Master & Comnander sequel please.

The original film ended with them going after the elusive Frenchie yet again. It was set up perfectly for a sequel.

Definitely this, there's a whole series of books you Patrick O'Brian which are superb.

Alien - River Of Pain, to fill in the gap between Alien and Aliens. I thought it was a great book, so it’s over to you, Scott or Cameron. smile

Yes to a Master and Commander sequel, I saw that for the first time a good few years after it was released and was gutted to find there was neither a sequel or plans for one.

I've had for a while an idea swirling around in my head about a film centred around how time travel exists and that time travellers are all around us. We can't see them or interact with them and they can only see us but not interact with us or anything around us, they're essentially ghosts. You could then use it to explain paranormal activity and create a plot around some of them managing to break through and interact in some ways... Maybe a sort of Sci-Fi / Horror kind of film.

Now waiting for someone to tell me it already exists...

Simon Scarrow Eagles of Empire Series. I love films featuring Roman legions

There are tons of stories written by Robert A. Heinlein but only a few have been turned into films.
Starship Troopers and Predestination are the only ones I have seen, lots more to feature

I'd like to see a movie that wraps up the Stargate Universe story. The finale of the series was frustrating to say the least.

Tom Clancy's - Red Storm rising would have been good, but suspect it would be too dated now.

John Birminghams "Axis of Time" trilogy.
Fantastic cross between Philadelphia Experiment and Timecop Sci Fi.

Six Million Dollar Man (watching on Legend!) but I think that is on the cards...

I had always thought of trying to write two screenplays. One where Star Trek TNG comes across a blue police box floating in space...And one where a certain Dr calls on the help of The Federation of Planets when in trouble..

A rated 18 and ultra violent Tarantino bond film set between the 50s and 70s.

Recently read Donna Tartt's The Secret History which would make a good movie or series perhaps.

I've also long hoped for a Bond reboot based on the original novels and set in the early 60's.
