Is it Andy Palmers ?
Perhaps couldn't stand the noise inside.
Apparently rally style headphones/intercom are needed, if you wish to speak to the person sitting beside you.

Even if someone can easily afford the servicing costs, they might think Aston Martin regard Valkyrie owners as a soft touch.
Every 30,000 miles - Rebuild the transmission. You might have already had the engine rebuilt by then.

Very few owners are actually going to drive them!

I was at HWM a few weeks back and one was being handed over. Didn’t actually see the car, as it was all being done in a closed off area, but I certainly heard it!

I think I was there also ... was this following the Lionel Martin tomb drive past?

The Valkyrie being handed over certainly sounded great. I have actually seen one driving on UK roads and it looked incredibly small compared to the other cars around it.

I'd be surprised if any even get past triple figures mileage.

Andy Palmer's has a gradient colour of black into white so not this car.

That is (I suspect) Jetcollectors (Instagram), it is VP8, which is the only exposed carbon finished prototype chassis Aston did which he has negotiated to purchase.

He was going to run it alongside his Chiron, but recently decided to part ways with it and just keep the Valkyrie. Also has a new RR Spectre.

Which is a shame really, was talking with an owner of one at the weekend who uses all his hypercars and was saying how good it is, although it's not an easy experience, there are a lot of 'start up' procedures, and if you remove the steering wheel it can take a few minutes to recalibrate various settings, but he loved it and this was in comparison to some very exotic cars in this garage, he said it was better than his latest Ferrari SP3. rotate

The one for sale looks similar (but not quite the same) as this one, which was in HWM on 23rd of January 2023 (unfortunately I wasn't there).

Just seen my first Valkyrie today, on Baker St.

Looked rather functional.

Sounded like a broken hairdryer though smile

Posted elsewhere, but worth acknowledging. Impressive new production car track record at Silverstone. Onboard camera shot is something to admire: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L0eWE_WwwLM

I wonder what the owners might be thinking.

Andy Palmer said my car would be as fast as a Formula One car at Silverstone.

1: 27.097 (Max Verstappen, 2020)
1: 56.42 Valkyrie.

I could only do 3 laps, before Max Verstappen lapped me.
I demand a refund.

I hope they managed to get it down the ramp onto the road ok.

…or did the closed off area circumvent that first drive away?

They’ve had one to view at Podium Place for a while now, but it would have been good to hear it and see one in motion!

Chris Harris on the roadster. And unlike the "regular" version he drove a couple of years ago, he likes it.... a lot: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U8-y4woo8Ro
