These triple headers are hard work! A dull Mexican GP but Brazil always serves up some interest- a Mercedes 1-2 and Russell’s first win last year. It’s a Sprint weekend again.

This will of course all be about Perez v Ricciardo, although if those two are your only options you’ve done something wrong.

Here’s to a great race. Again, poll is for 2nd.

Date(s): Friday 3 to Sunday 5 November 2023.

Mercedes 1-3 I think, Verstappen in 2nd and Norris in 4th.

Perez a lonely 6th with a Ferrari behind him and Ricciardo ahead.

Thanks for the thread PiaP, going for a LH win , he always goes well here, SP to further implode, MV Podium with LN up there with him.

Thanks PIAP ... Sterling work as ever.

Voted Hamilton for second but would love to see him grab a win before the end of the season.

Assuming Lando doesn't screw up Qualy then a podium for him as well.

My heart says a Lando P1 but my head is acknowledging Max with a Merc in the top 3. Perez to finish bottom of the points and some pretty tasty midfield fighting.

Always enjoyed Interlagos, not sure I can commit to prime to Sunday roast viewing though!

My guess is Verstappen -> Hamilton -> Norris.

Thanks, PiaP, as always. One thing: any chance of changing 'Shootout' to 'Qualifying'. I know it is childish, and shows a certain lack of mental control on my behalf, but dear me. I'm not a comic-reading American.

Two races here. I hope for something other than a double for MV. Anyone at all to win one of the races (as long as they are driving a McLaren of course). Absolutely anyone.

Brazil has given us some classics, despite the nature of the circuit. Here's hoping. Often a surprise. Or two. Something memorable.

Thanks PiaP!!

Always enjoy Brasil. Can't see anyone but Max winning here, but maybe, just maybe, Lewis or Norris can carry their form over and upset the Max wafty apple cart. Here's to hope!!

I heard through the Brasil Bugle it's gonna be a super soaraway slugfest! Enjoy!

One “qualifying”, one “race”, and how dare you suggest anything else! “Sprint Shootout” and “Sprint” are, you see, totally different things, and definitely not qualifying nor race.

Yes, it’s annoying as hell when they try and bend the language like this! banghead

As for the actual race, I think this is probably Lewis’s best chance of a win all season, but do worry about how much pace that Red Bull (singular!) has in reserve. I’d expect Mercedes to be quite aggressive, both with the setup and the strategy.

Lando’s overdue his first win as well, he could also be one to watch this weekend.

Another thanks to PiaP for this thread. I refer to the first post in these regularly, all the links and timing I need for the weekend are in one place and easy to find smile

I don't have the actual data, perhaps someone else does, but why are Merc general slower than RB and McLaren at pitstops? It seems whenever you see their times, it's always a few tenths slower than the fastest teams regularly manage.

Lewis will be clear favourite for 2nd here, it's his second best race of the season and the crowd loves him.

Max will love to stop him getting a win though, I bet he still remembers the 2021 race.

Looking forward to this, always a good race here. Sprint weekend too, so we're in for a treat!

Always loved the Brazilian Grand Prix whether it was one of the first races of the season when late on a boring Sunday March evening in the UK it always seemed so sun baked and exotic or at the end of the season.
I'm sure there have been terrible races at Interlagos but there definitely seems to have been more exciting than boring ones!

The 2008 race will remain my 'Desert Island' Grand Prix to re-watch.

With Lewis, it's in response to his fashion faux pas. I believe with George, it is because he is a tory apparently...

I'd love to see Lando win. But, only an insane optimist would bet against Max.

So, Lando for the win it is!
