There are a bunch of 'em for about that price.

Just ordered. £28 all in (without batteries as I have loads knocking about).

I'm trying to cut down on stuff I don't really need as well...

Good shout although I'd rather from a recognised brand given how much energy we're dealing with - just wouldn't trust it if it's built by a one handed 6 year old orphan in Guangzhou. wink

I've got a similar jump starter branded Energizer (of battery fame). Whilst it may well also have been put together by the same One Hand Lee, I feel like it probably wasn't. And I swear by it. It's rated up to 3 litre engines but it *just about* gets my 3.6 litre Porsche engine started. Phew.

I’ve had a few now, all failed after a few uses

I’ve now purchased a set of 5m jump leads, less to go wrong

Were they a recognised brand? I see a lot of Chinese electronic crap with random brand names as if they've just hit the keyboard with a slipper. I mean they're not even Chinese names. (Because they'd sound like cutlery has been thrown on the floor, obvs.)

Anyway, I wouldn't trust the cheap randomly named stuff. I mean, I do have some stuff but I wouldn't walk away with it plugged in to the mains, for instance.

(Just for context, I'm Chinese!)
