Hi all, like an idiot I shut the bonnet after disconnecting the battery when taking off the steering wheel, gear lever and handbrake handle

Now they are all back I set myself up for using jump leads to open the bonnet, I've followed the procedure and nothing happening, I can see its connecting with a small spark if not secured straight away, I can also hear a little solenoid when I insert the key, all fuses look okay but the electric bonnet release isn't working at all, no noise or activity

Any ideas ?

Which model, there is usually a manual release cable hidden away. Also try asking someone to lean gently on the badge as you press the electronic switch in case something is trapped and making it difficult for the release to operate.

Thanks its a 997.2 C2.

I managed to resolve with a battery connected as instructed and tried the key bonnet opener, it was fine for some reason the button on the sill didnt work at all this way, phew !

Looking good about to see if its all working normally and see how the steering wheel feels
