MY2019 vs MY2020 X3 M40i 265kw or 285kw?

Hi guys,

I'm taking delivery of a 2020 X3 M40i this Friday, it has the newer iDrive and virtual cockpit/gauges, I just can't seem to find anywhere whether it has the updated B58 engine in it?

The salesman seems quite unsure too, he says it was only in the LCI that we received the 285kw but he is not entirely sure, however, when browsing US forums some seem to have 285kw from MY2020? I can't find any info about the EU/UK markets though.

Could anyone here with technical knowledge shed some light as to whether it is 265 or 285kw?

I have tried several number plate checking sites, and then cross referenced them with 72 plates for example, and they say the 72 plates also have 360hp...
