Considering a 720S
Discussion
I am considering a 720S coupe.
I know the Gorilla glass can crack. Are the windscreens ok on these?
Are both covered under the warranty?
I'm potentially looking at a January 2019 car, slightly concerned that it will soon be out of the paint warranty but I really like the colour and spec.
Assuming it's under a Mclaren warranty, is there anything else I should be looking at or be concerned about?

Thanks.
Do they have a tracker as standard? I would imagine that a few insurers would ask for them at that price point.
Yes - I assume Vodafone, same as other models.Do they have a tracker as standard? I would imagine that a few insurers would ask for them at that price point.
(Admiral doesn't usually require Tracker, and at least for my 650 Spider the difference in premium is less than the Tracker subscription).

Corrosion on the front wing fenders
Cracked Gorilla Glass
Accumulators
Not much else really
The Super Series cars have a fluid component to their suspension which enables the cross-linked behaviour, resisting roll without making the suspension so stiff over bumps.
The accumulators store the fluid under pressure, over time they can lose pressure causing suspension faults or hard ride.
McLaren will replace the accumulators for free under warranty, or for a king's ransom otherwise.
V Engineering and I think Thorney will replace accumulators with their own rechargeable equivalents, once you've done that it's quick and cheap to top up pressure e.g. at annual services, so make it much less of an issue ongoing.

Hi Supersport.
The windscreens are covered by warranty for the first 5 years. There is a caveat.
It has to be a stress fracture spreading from the edge of the windsreen. Any sign if a
Stone chip will be rejected.
Gorilla glass is covered. They can be replaced with polycarbonate units to avoid future issues.
Corrosion warranty is 5 years. Get it inspected ASAP and booked in through McLaren dealer before deadline.
CHEERS. M666LMJ.
