ad blocker no longer works with youtube?

seems youtube has sussed i have ad blocker and is now bothering me to stop it , is there a work around?

Another vote here. I had a glitch recently where I saw a few ads.

Guess the Brave team patched it. No issues since.

And me, haven't seen an ad for years.

It's linked to your account, so if you log out of an account you can see videos without ads, but if you are logged in the videos are blocked. (using Adblock or uBlock Origin anyway).

Yes, it appears uBlock Origin have updated their software to fix it. A few weeks ago all adblockers were struggling with it and logging out of the account was the best way.

I had a big black square a moment ago when I tried to watch a video on YouTube, with "Ad blockers are not allowed on YouTube" written inside it, as well as options to pay or continue with ads. Anyway, I copied the URL from the address bar in the tab and literally pasted it into the same address bar and hit return. Video loaded and played. No ads and no pop up.

Only have adblock+ on firefox and it works perfectly, never noticed it not. I watch youtube daily.

Check your Adblocker add-in is still there, on my browser, I started seeing them and noticed the add-in had vanished. Reinstalled and now OK. Adblock+.

Click on the 'X' at top right and it will go away.

Not on brave but i had to use an add-in/ extension to stop that highly irritating issue.
