Lease Company forgot to charge damage?
Discussion
Hello
Curious if anyone else has had a similar experience.
It’s not been just over a month i returned my lease car to Arval. Car was well below the allowed mileage, no MOT required etc but did have clear damage (large noticeable chips and other scratch) on at least two panels. Curiously, the guy who came to collect only made reference to the large chips on one of the doors and not on the other panel and so at the very least I expected to pay for that door to be sorted/resprayed.
Arval’s guidance online states that I should have received the damage report within 48 hours. Other than a few reminders to fill out a feedback survey on my experience with them (most recent email on this I received Friday) I haven’t received any sign of a report and nothing at all to do with paying any damage… I’m hoping they have either forgot or it’s under some sort of threshold where they simply don’t care.
Could it be safe to assume I have gotten away with it at this point?
