How long to get V5 used car.
Discussion
I've bought loads of cars over the last few years. The logbook always seems to arrive within a week.
The only time it didn't was when I bought a car from Cazoo and they failed to register it in my name, so not the DVLA's fault at all. I had to chase Cazoo up who eventually did register the car to me.

I too had to chase up the dealer to actually register the change of ownership with the last car I bought. The only time it didn't was when I bought a car from Cazoo and they failed to register it in my name, so not the DVLA's fault at all. I'm sure it was entirely co-incidental that the car was on SoR, and thus the V5 change would have notified the previous owner that the sale had completed and they were now due their money from the dealer...
