2020 G20 How do you connect / activate GPS so you can locate

Ah the joys of getting older and buying cars with layers of tech

so 2020 G20 3 series

Downloaded 'My BMW' App paired it with car = all good

BMW shop is offering add on's (camera locals / Map updates)

But when I try to use App on iphone to see cars location it says

"GPS positioning is deactivated in your vehicle. To use the mobility functions, please activate GPS positioning in your vehicles setting menu"

damned if I can find it

any guidance (haha) most welcome

Check the privacy settings in the iDrive.

think i sorted it BMW Shop pay for 'Connected Drive' Booster package £ 79 now it works hmm I am now in a subscription loop
