I've just had a truckload of work done at David Appleby Engineering. One of the jobs was to fit Nitron suspension, which would normally re-use the OE springs. However, one of the front springs was cracked. I expected to get hold of some secondhand ones, so I had the rears powdercoated in readiness. In the end, I couldn't find any secondhand front springs, so I had new Nitron springs fitted.

So - one pair of freshly powder coated rear springs. It's still possible to see a little bit of the corrosion that was present, but it's really not bad. These are about £400 + VAT each when new. I'm asking £350 the pair including delivery (to UK)

Another of the jobs was to fit a new pair of two-piece rear brake discs. Sadly, these didn't turn up in time, and my old discs were damaged when they were removed, so couldn't be re-used. So, I had to get DAE to fit a brand-new pair of Brembo discs so that I could collect the car.. Annoyingly, the two-piece discs turned up at DAE about an hour before I colleted the car, but it was too late by then. These have done about 200 miles - they still have the machining marks on the disc surface. There are a couple of marks from mounting, but that's it. They cost me £300, so I'm looking for about £250 inc delivery (to UK)
