Looking at a 430 d and was wandering if the Lci versions are indeeda good upgrade?

We've had 3 Gran Coupes and in my view the difference is not noticeable, particularly when they have adaptive suspension anyway.
However, currently selling my wife's 440i which is pre LCI and it appears the LCI is much more sought after.
