435d upgraded brake disc/pad options
Discussion
Hi all,
Looking for some advice please. I have a 2015 F32 435d which has been remapped to 400bhp. Lovely, but obviously I would like to upgrade the brakes to help rein this in. Car is on the standard 340mm front set up. I was looking the MTEC pads and discs but I wanted to know if there is any particular groove pattern/drilling that is best (both noise and performance). Any advice and options would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!

They're Mintex discs that have been cut to the style... One piece too...
Stick with the correct OEM spec 2 piece discs for the correct weight and heat distribution; pads also, or look at upgrading the pads to the likes of Ferodo DS2500 or similar...
I run OEM BMW M Performance discs & pads on my F31 and they've been superb/faultless... You could just stick with blank discs also
Textar & Jurid make most of the Fx range of brakes; Brembo make the calipers. Other OEM brands are TRW & ATE also; all these can be found on Autodoc
But the likes of Douglas Park BMW do some good offers on brakes via their eBay shop; you could try Cotswolds BMW too for prices; and then look at Autodoc

Click on the pics and click again to get the full res images... They're the 370/345mm brakes FYI...
They'd be a good upgrade for you if you can find them at a decent price I reckon...
