This car has been on sale on PH for ages:

https://www.pistonheads.com/buy/listing/13141380

Initially it was offered at £30K but was reduced to £20K about 3 weeks ago. On the face of it it looks good value but the fact that it has been hanging around for so long suggests that there is something wrong with it.

The ad doesn't help as the description says 200 BHP but even so I'm surprised that it hasn't sold.

Has anybody looked at it?

I haven't looked at it but I just think these are overpriced at that level. I'd pay £12k for a coupé of comparable spec and mileage, but no more as I just don't think it's worth it. It looks unmolested except for the splitter on the front bumper which was only standard on the M3 coupé. These have 320bhp too - not 200!

Also, it irks me somewhat when people say things like "finished in the best colour of techno violet". Surely the desirability of the colour is subjective? I happen to like Techno Violet the most on an E36, but that doesn't mean it's the best.

The front lip was fitted to every M3 Evo saloon I’ve ever seen - including the one I owned. Don’t remember it being an option.

That one looks fairly decent from the pics, but I’d like to see a bit better prep if they want £20k for it - bumper mouldings all the same colour, as a start.

£20k is reasonable for a really good low mileage car. Whether this is that is impossible to say without seeing it.

It probably hasn't sold because it has too many doors I reckon! biggrin

I'd absolutely love an E36 M3 EVO Coupe though. cloud9

I have an original E36 M3 Evo/3.2 brochure and only the Coupé has the front lip in the pics. That said, if I do a Google image search for an E36 M3 Saloon 95% of the cars that appear in the results have the lip, so I guess almost everyone specced it, even though it's not shown as an option in the brochure.
