F10 M5 sound systems

Just found a car with the spec I thought I wanted but..

Looking at pictures there is no branding on the speakers and looks like it has a base spec sound system.

Every single car I've seen has h and k, not seen any with b and o, and this car seems to not be HK or BO so I'm assuming standard system

How much difference is there between this and the HK system?

I had H&K on my LCI F10 M5, and the B&O system in a F15 X5, and neither sounds amazing - the B&O is visually impressive, and a lot of parameters can be adjusted. If the example you have found is spot on otherwise, I would not let it be a stop to getting it.

My old LCI M5 just had the standard system (Loudspeaker system – BMW Advanced) IIRC around 200w and 12 speakers, I've had HK in most of the other BMWs I've had and TBH I couldn't tell the difference, HK isn't that good and neither was the standard one in the M5.

I have had a F10 M5 for 6 years now. It has the HK system. I like it, I have no complaints. Its definitely better than the standard system I had in my 335i. That wasn’t HK. I would at minimum look for a M5 with HK and B&O is a bonus. Not many come with B & O. On the used car market scene its hard to get everything you desire. I did well I got multi-function seats, Adaptive LEDS lights (big option all have Xenon), 360 camera including reverse, built in TV, speed limit display, soft close doors, comfort access and heated cooled seats and steering wheel, rear heated seats.. It didn’t have the B & O but HK is good enough.

If its a good price just take it to audiofile-incar for an upgrade.
