I sometimes think you can have fun & be a bit more creative if you have a total of 50k but have to spend it on 5 cars for different kinds of use, for me...(forget running costs)

Lancia Delta Integrale Evo
Porsche 928GT
BMW M635
Lotus Elise/maybe an early Griffith
Jeep grand Cherokee

what would you have.

am I bored or what!?

At 10K a piece

Audi S8 (fast executive)
Impreza Turbo (old shape) (A to B blatt)
Land Rover Defender (load lugger, go anywhere)
TVR Griffith (would have to a 4 litre precat at that price)
Caterham 7 (Trackdays)

Not specifics, but a Caterham, an estate, a massive luxo-barge, a quick Coupé and a superbike.

- 4.0 Griffith (and will be a ropey one for £10k!). For noise, drama and tinkering with.

- E34 BMW M5 Touring; the perfect sub £10k rocketship load lugger.

- Caterham or Westfield for trackdays.

- 60's Jaguar MkII for taking dates out/turning up to parties in.

- Old shape, last of the line Rover Mini Cooper S Works, with every bit of subtle tuning and comfort mod possible, including air conditioning, for London.

- I'd rather cheat on the last two, combine and buy an early 70's Mercedes 280SL (the Pagoda), or a 70's Aston Martin V8.

Bloody fast mini with all the tricks.

Fully kitted up Suzuki SJ Jeep.

Old TVR Grantura with a bike derived V8, home made.I reckon I could do it for less than £10K

Mk3 Capri with running gear of a V6 Cosworth XR4x4 also with forced induction. That would be my rally car.

Something really small like a Fisher Fury but even smaller, completely home made with a bike engine, built to the laws of physics, like a road going single seater, the sort of thing you could drive under lorries with.

errr good game!

1. Lincoln Continental (1961) (not soft top). Mmmmmm. Great limo for days out.

2. Smart Coupe for early morning country road fun.

3. Caterham - for more track days.

4. BMW M5 (old school 3.8).

5. Maserati BiTurbo Spyder (just because you said running costs are ignored!).
