R53 Cooper S Revs Sticking

Good Morning All,
Recently purchased an R53 mini cooper s which is great but the revs remain high for a few seconds when changing gear. Is this normal with a supercharged car or is the throttle sticking. This is my first supercharged car so not sure of it's characteristics...!

I remember mine used to be similar... It doesn't seem to do it anymore... So I suspect I have learned to drive accordingly.

yup mine hung a bit when i went to change gear.... great little cars
