Scraping sound

Hello all

last 2 months or so when driving i notice a weird scraping sound from the back right wheel. its not constant it gets faster as the car gets faster

only words i can do to describe it is a "cushhhh cushhh sound", not high pitched or low pitched

car is 2017 640d on 20 inches.

any guesses at all?

Jack it up and give it all a good look over; remove the wheel and give the brake disc shield a good smack too and see if any stones drop out

Yes, sometimes brake disc shields either get crud in them or get slightly bent and rub the back of the disc. Sometimes (assuming it's not bent) a decent car wash with a pressure washer sorts it. Obviously don't blast it up close like a patio!
