Glasgow Royal Concert Hall - where to park?

Hoping someone local to Glasgow could advise on parking for an evening concert at the Royal Concert Hall.
Preferably walking distance, was wondering about Kennedy Street? Is that safe? Is the area affected by ULEZ stuff now?
Won two tickets for Graham Nash if someone wants to come along as at the minute I'm Billy No Mates.

If you want to be outside the LEZ then you’ll need to be north of the m8. Speirs Warf or beside the Conservatoire at Corn St should be ok and a short walk. I think Kennedy St is in the LEZ. If you can be in the LEZ then park of the Concert Sq car park. You could also look at park and ride on the underground as Cowcaddens is nearby.

Buchannan Galleries, although it might be locked by the type the event ends. No issue leaving a car there overnight if you're staying in the city centre, though. Have done this many times. The fact that it's locked in rather puts the mind at rest!!

Concert square car park.

Use it a few times a month no issues, park after 6 and flat rate for the night.

It stays open when there are events on.

One car is LEZ free as it's 50 year old, the other isn't .

It's adjacent to Buchanan Bus Station and less than a minutes walk from the Concert Hall.
Only downside is that after the concert it can take a little time to get out as everyone is leaving at once. Also, as said it's a flat fee after 6pm so buy your ticket before going to the concert so you don't need to queue at a PayStation to get out.

Another vote for concert square. Worth pointing out as well that the LEZ is different from London. In London it is essentially a fee to allow you within the ULEZ area but in Glasgow it is a fine which doubles for every day you are within the zone. It can quickly add up if you are there overnight

Jeez, just looked it up, £60!
Do I need to register the exempt 50 year old car?
Otherwise it's find somewhere outside the "zone"

There I have my problem. I didn't even know Glasgow had a subway.
I've only been a couple of times, to leave a car at a garage in the Clydebank area then caught a bus into/back out of town.
What time do they stop running? Will investigate.

Just to conclude, parked at Concert Square - £4
Easy access and egress and a 50 year old "classic" helped me avoid the ridiculous LEZ charge

30? I think (happy to be wrong) it's 40. Same as the change to "Historic" with free VED, MoT exemption etc
