Can any of you nice fellows tell me if what was supposed to come with the S2 to store the soft top and bars when not on the car. I think this is the only part of my car which is missing. And being an anal bastard, I want one.

The soft top has a bag. It is quite useful, when the top is in the bag it takes up about 50% less space in the boot. It also stops it getting nocked about.

As mentionned the bag is "given" with the car and is usefull for the roof BUT I do not recommend to put the bars in the bag with the roof rolled because the vibrations of the bars against the roof will tear the tissue, only a little bit at ends but... I am maniac for my car.
Speaking about the roof, I stick a mark on front end to be able to quicly recognise the front from the rear, without having to palpate the 3 smalls bumps on the plastic. How do you do guys? Is there another quick way to do this?

I dont roll it up from the middle, I roll mainly from pax side first, and then just a bit of the drivers gets rolled, then you can see the forward facing arrows. Does save the embarassment of taking it all off again and swopping it 'round.

Just got the soft top bag for my long tail S2. Only £17 inc VAT from Lotus.

Very useful for when you put the roof in the boot and other things. Makes the folded up roof a lot more compact.

Errr, if you always take it off the same way and put it on the same way then you cant get it the wrong way round.

I take it off: driver side first
put it on: passenger side first.

Cheers for the replies guys, £17 from Lotus seems very reasonably. I'll check with Murrays up here if they'll order me one for the same price.
