I purchased an approved used BMW with vented seats .
I have noticed the leather is cracking / peeling on the vent holes on the vented seat base , has anyone has this and what did BMW did ?

Many thanks

Model? Year? Mileage?

The pigmented top layer on F30 leather has been known to peel off for some people, for example, the centre arm rest where your elbow leans on it for a while.

No one knows if it's a reaction to skin oils/sweat or what, but BMW will do Jack Schitt about it as interiors are not covered by extended warranty plans.

This, i'm pretty sure that it counts as trim or cosmetic finish & is excluded from warranty.

FWIW, if the top coat does peel off, it can be fixed very easily with Scratch Doctor colour restorer at the cheaper end, or ColourLock at the dearer end of the price range.
