Potential puncture repair?
Discussion
Thread update time. Unfortunately a puncture repair wasn’t possible. The bolt was larger than the plug so despite their best efforts, the tyre isn’t airtight.
I’m now trying to source a replacement but have come across two options for seemingly the same tyre. I want to replace like for like, so I’m after a Michelin Primacy 4, and have the option of an S1 or S2. Does anyone know the difference?

Must have been a big bolt!
What type of plug did they try to use?
Chap I use uses this type: www.tyrebaydirect.com/product-category/tyre-consum... go up to a 14mm stem.

I want to say 6mm. My understanding was the relevant BS standard prohibits repair of anything larger. I’ll phone around - the alternative is £120 for a new tyre! What type of plug did they try to use?

Just replace with the same as the others, assuming there is a marking to say which.I’m now trying to source a replacement but have come across two options for seemingly the same tyre.
