Rear window hinges

Right, busy stripping the last of the bits off before the respray, and lo and behold (as they say) the lower hinge on each rear side window is snapped through. Are these part of the frame or can they be replaced. Could always go fixed and perspex I suppose but having just bought a new bonnet/light/2 wheels/2 seats....I'm bit skint.
Looks like I'll nee new door handle gaskets etc too...

Sorry, didn't mean to moan, it ws just that after everything else, I removed the windows for painting the car and a) both lower hinges were snapped and b) there was yet more holes, this time along the lower edge of the window aperture.
The hinges screw to the B pillar but seem to disappear into the chrome frame.....

The Mk 1 had proper strip hinges which were very strong. To cheapen the design this was changed to a couple of lugs which break off. If it's an early car i.e. Mk 1 or 2, you can use the Mk 1 hinges if you can find any.
However, I might be wrong, but I think the Mk 1 had chromes surrounds whereas the Mk 2 onwards had stainless steel surrounds. It's a long time since I had anything to do with the opening rear side windows. My advice is to go for perspex non-opening ones if you have a problem.
