E-Sim in later models

Anyone on here actually got one? I've got a question about the Fire TV application. I understand the Esim is not available in the UK so a physical SIM is required to actually use any of the functions of the Theatre Screen? It looks like lots of other features such as wifi hot spot work off of a physical sim?

If anyone does have an i7 can the screen actually display anything without plugging in a USB? Or are we stuck having to pay for an additional SIM contract to get anything played on the theatre Screen?

Well in case anyone else wonders, yes needs a complete new Sim card. So to use the Theatre Screen as an example you need the BMW sim reader then connect, can't just the sim in your phone. Looks good once done though!
