BMW M340d X Drive Touring Lease Assignment?

Hello All,
Short Version:
I just wondered if anyone had experience of finding someone to take over a car lease? Is there a platform or service that you can use to help find a new custodian for the car and lease?
A good friend, who likes his cars, has had an unplanned change in business / working circumstances. As a result, he is looking to assign the lease of his existing car to someone else. The details are:
BMW M340d x drive touring
Mineral grey metallic with black leather
First registered April 2022
Leased through Novuna
The lease is a 3 year lease with about 18 months left to run. The lease agreement is for 20,000 miles per annum. The car has done 37,000 miles, so 23,000 miles left over the next 18 months.
The lease payment is £599+VAT per month. My friend and his car are based in Harrogate, North Yorkshire.
My friend hasn't had the best of luck just recently, so I'm hoping that someone on Pistonheads will know about these things and will be able to point him towards the best way to get the lease assigned.
Any advice would be massively appreciated.
