BMW 430 D with 83000 miles

So guys ive taken the step and listened to you all and will be looking at a 430 as opposed to a 420... I have found an M sport 2014 83000 miles full bmww history. should I negotiate the price to get the chain replaced if so how much? and should I think about getting the Auto box serviced?

ps does a cheap apple carplay interface exist for this model please? as I play spotify quite a lot.

No...

The chains can fail if the ending isn't looked after, oil services are too far and few between. But they do not all fail and there are plenty out there wirh high miles!

My pals N57 330D and his Dad's N47 320D have joth 150k plus on them and zero issues. Oil/filter changed twice yearly without fail. Their E91 320D has 217k miles on it, original chain. Just a dead autobox...

You could budget to get it changed a bit later down the line. But you'd be fixing something that's not broken.

Either put that money to one side and keep saving. Or consider extended BMW warranty (not aftermarket warranty)

My 640d that I have had since 24k miles had a big end bearing fail at 98k miles writing off the engine and turbos.

All covered under the BMW extended warranty that costs me £70 month.

What's the service history like? And by that, how frequently was is carried out (time and miles)?
