So the great little M240i was traded in yesterday for a new G80 M3 Comp.
Absolutely love it, even if i can't use all the revs/power until the run in service has been completed.

IOMGreen over Tartufo interior.

Very nice! thumbup

Such a great colour too I reckon. I've seen a couple of them in the metal in that colour and it really suits them.

Enjoy it(once it is run in!). driving

Thanks, have had several comments on the colour already.

Having it ceramic coated tomorrow, so will post up some more pics then.

Love the colour, did you get a good deal on it?

Yep, just under 10% off. Hence why i return to Cotswold BMW which is 75m drive away from home, rather than use my local BMW dealer which is about 3 miles away.

Great dealership to deal with. No hassle, no pressure, real enthusiasts. Genuinely treat you like they want your return business in a few years time.

That’s made me feel better, I thought I was just fussy/weird but I drive 120 miles (each way!) each year to Cotswolds in Cheltenham for all my M4 servicing, my local lot are a shower

Amazing how the IOMG colour changes with the sun intensity. Looks almost blue/green from some angles.

Driving - yes - a few track days booked. Plus taking me to motorsport events all over the Uk. Have done 600 miles in the first week.

Modifying it ? Absolutely not. It already feels faster than my old M6 despite a 80-90bhp deficit.
Love the front end turn in, really loves to corner.

Be interesting how you find it on track! Still trying to figure out where the discount will land on these, as I am after a São Paulo Yellow M3 with Blue buckets I should probably buy used as its a bit of a brave spec lol

Spacers and springs seem to make the stance 10 x better.

Good luck finding that spec on a used car!

Agree stance is slightly odd, but doesn't bother me, and it's an excellent ride/handling compromise so not going to mess with it.
950 miles in 15 days so far should tell you how i feel about the car.

R-I-S booked for 19th, i'll be well over 1200 miles by then.

Nice - my tip - book RIS early - dealers tend to be booked out at least 2 if not 3 weeks in advance at the moment.

Noted thanks. I'm going to aim for 1000 miles which will give me some leeway.

I saw a G82 M4 recently near me with that combo too(with the bucket seats). So it does seem more popular than you might think as you say
