engine swap

hello all

anyone have a rough idea of cost to switch a 640d engine to the 640i or even 650i?

is it doable? is it easy? is it even worth it? (probably not)

my mileage has now taken a massive hit and will be doing maybe 5k a year. i also kind of regret not getting the petrol to begin with

It's not just the engine, but the fuelling system, looms, ECU etc...

I'd say it's be stupidly expensive and not worth the time
