The author of the post claims it's done 37 miles.

How would they know the mileage? It has an electronic odo which isn't visible until the ignition is switched on.

I saw this posted on MICOL. Somebody in the comments posted that they'd looked it up on the BMW service system and last time it was in a BMW dealer it had done 14k miles.

MOT history suggests it hasn't had one...ever.

the story is wrong, car has had 3 owners and has 14-15k miles. Still a shame to see one in this state but also not ideal that it is plastered all over the internet now.
