Just found out today, at our 20 week scan, that our impending arrival is 90% male! Or rather there's a 90% chance he will be a boy...!......Erm...You know what I mean.

So at what age should I get him Karting? As my little princess is looking like she's going to be into horses instead.

Once he is 1 year old he should be able to walk, and thus press the pedals....

Oh, Congrats !!!!!!

Congratulations Steve, as already mentioned get him behind the wheel as soon as he can walk. Get it right and he'll be a damned good pension fund for you!!

Cheers Tony,

If he's got half his Dad's talent he'll be on the bins in no time.

at myself

There's also the chance if he is any good, that I'll end up bankrupting myself to fund his pastime!

You get the thril of the HP but can also build a bond and trust with the horse. They're always there to listen to your problems too!
Oh and can be even more thrilling than cars as the horse has more of a mind of it's own

My grandfather used to have a horse back in the pre car days and he loathed it, it was his father horse and would only really listen to his father and would always go off in the wrong direction and do all sorts of naughty things seemingly just to spite him. He was glad when cars came along and he could finally have some control.

On the other side of the family though my other grandfather is apparently something of a 'horse whisperer type' who can apparently tame any sort of wild horse and that was his job for a while. My father has inherited this ability to seemingly tame any animal. Not me though, every animal just seems to want to kill me .

Anyway enough thread hijacking...

Congratulations...! Immediately after the green pooh, strap him into a remotely contolled kart and drive it round a track to get a good head start on adapting him to the sensation of high speeds and where his braking points and apexes are

Roop - that could be started in the womb, so strap the misses in instead!!!

Obviously this advice is not meant to be taken and should not be carried out when pregnant
