This has been asked before, I know, but is there anywhere in Aberdeen that could be relied upon to do a half reasonable job of some wheel aligment? I'm aware there are places recommended up Ellon way and I've used Jim Reid in Kintore, but this time I'm specifically after somewhere in town that will do a decent job. It's for a daily driver Merc C350 so nothing exotic. Cheers

Ooh new daily, nice smile

Not *quite* in town I had my C63 aligned at Westhill Garage, the car was there for some work (as the main chap there is an ex-MB master tech) courtesy of the selling dealer. No complaints other than that the steering is still a little off-center, but on further research this, apparently, is a common thing with Mercs. They'll just have adjusted the alignment to match factory spec though, I will be taking the car to either Jim Reid or MB (the place near Ellon) in due course to try and get it set up properly.

Otherwise there's Law's Tyres, although I've never used them for alignment.

Are you looking for a Hunters alignment or old school…

Not a new daily for me, but a car I bought from a relatives estate for a friend after a car. If Wetshill garage have an ex-MB tech then that might be a good shout. There are plenty of places that are happy to do alignment, but there seems to be a fair bit of variation in how good a job they do. The C350 will be a daily and won't be being driven at 9 or 10/10ths, but obviously I'm wanting the handling to be right and to avoid prematurely killing tyres.

Cheers.

I'm just after a decent job really. I'm sure most places will get the wheels pointing in vaguely the right direction, but the ideal would be somewhere local that did a good job. I'm not expecting Centre Gravity setup, but I've see pretty bad uneven tyre wear patterns on peoples cars who have had alignment done some certain places.
