S1 Exige or S2 Elise

I have approx. £18k to spend and can't decide between the S1 EXIGE or a newer S2 Elise - any suggestions?
It will be almost an every day car (for my other half!)...

ermm.. everyday car for your other half?

Go S2 then. The S1 Exige is a bit raw and grumpy for some. At least go and test drive both

Thanks. Have driven the S1 and S2 Elises, both are great but I prefer the S2 shape (being newer). I haven't have an Exige experience yet... As for the 'other half' - I have a company car, so in theory it is for her, although I leave before her in the morning...

for that price Id try and get an S2111S with aircon etc...as new a car as possible...will be the best daily driver.
