what car should I buy ?

Hello chaps

I'm looking to add a car to my stable.
As I don't have a proper car to commute to work, I need to buy something that can fulfill this role. But still would like to have something entertaining. I rented a Skoda last winter but don't want to do that again.

At the moment I already have an E46 M3, an Alfa Romeo SZ, a Ferrari Challenge Stradale, a Catheram 485 S and a Lotus 430 Cup.

Right now I have short listed the Golf ClubSport S, the Mini GP3 or the Subaru impreza WRX STI (year 2007). The STI is the most expensive of the lot while the ClubSport S and Mini can be bought for roughly the same price (but different mileage).

Which of the three is going to depreciate less in your opinion ? I believe the STI while being the most expensive would also be the best car to drive and the one that will depreciate the least, but also the worse one in reliability ? Woud be great to hear from someone who owns or has owned any of these three cars.

Curious as to why you cast some doubts over commuting to work on a GP3 ?

I suspect the WRX is likely to increase in value, surely they must be close to the bottom of the curve now?

Is the Impreza really the most expensive? I sold my blobeye STI PPP for £6,300 a few years ago, sounds like that was a mistake lol. Great car, but was too thirsty on fuel to be a commuter for me personally. I switched it up and bought a Clio RS instead which I much preferred.

If you're looking at a Golf Clubsport S why not go for the car it couldn't surpass.
