Nissan GT-R Battery question

Evening all,

Recently I changed the battery in my GTR, 2016/17 EBA model.

I had only just got the car, the battery light came on as I wasn’t using it much, so got a trickle charger to keep it full
of electricity.
Drive it and the light would go out after a while.
Now, alternator is charging the battery as voltage drops when I start the car then goes right up to 14v approx.

Anyway, decided to get a new battery as original one still on it from when it was new in 2016.

Fitted the battery but battery light still on when I drive it out, goes out sometimes but today stayed on.

Car drives perfectly.

Has anyone got any idea as how to rectify this light so it stays off.

In a nutshell, light was not on when I drove it home after I brought it.
Didn’t use it then for a few weeks, then light came on as battery was low.
Charged battery, took it out, light went off.
Battery replaced with new one, now light back on, sometimes goes off but today stayed on.

Any ideas people.
