Anyone heard of this?

I have a friend who is starting up selling these products and wondered if anyone on here knew someone who had or had any news on the business.

if you want to email to prevent any issues with name and shame would be appreciated, going to do some net digging as well but if people know where to start looking it would be appreciated.

hopefully i am being over cautious but the brochures they give to their people sound too good to be true and that is never a good sign in my book.

thanks.

We got caught up in this too, an excellent way to ostracise yourself from all known friends and family,

highly recommended if living in a skip and talking to stray dogs appeals

'Tis all bollox, I'm afraid.

Your mate is 'starting his own business' selling someone else's products, giving someone else the vast majority of the profits, whilst simultaneously working his arse off to sell overpriced goods to friends who don't really want them. He'll make bugger all on each sale, and what little he makes will be squandered on 'motivational' tapes and seminars.

That's NOT my definition of being in business for yourself!

Are they Forever Living Products as in Aloe Vera etc etc. I kind of thought they were the Aloe Vera version of the Avon Lady type thing. Quite a few people I know use FLP aloe for pets etc.

one and the same.
though the marketing of these is being directed more at the human market.

i can concur with the PITA comments, there is a bloke who i do business with that keeps trying to get me to become an "affiliate member" or whatever the new word for mug is, i am having none of it, it is similar to pyramid selling in that it is always other people getting all the money, the only difference being that there is actually a product at the end of the line, wether it is any good or not, i'm not sure, but it would appear that it is all based on promises of vast wealth in the future, that of course never comes
