I joined PH many many years ago and still remember when the forum(s) were much busier and enthusiast driven.

Now, the last post in an existing thread was last Thursday, how come nobody is active anymore?

I think a lot of subjects have been covered, so unless a new car or new owner comes along there's not much to say!

The new M cars are bought by very different customers in my opinion.

The new M cars are bloated overpriced shi*e. Let’s be honest. There is no way I would buy a recent model BMW. The loss of such a large customer base means that interest on this forum and the modern M Cars means that it’s inevitable.

M3 cutters or bimmerpost. The former very UK centric the latter very US centric.

Higher sales numbers than ever before, more hype around New releases than ever before, better reviews than ever before..... what customer base has been lost?

Oh, apart from the luddites like you whose only contribution to this forum for the last year is repeating the same waffle about how you don't like the new Ms. Great, good for you. You aren't the target market.

Like a broken record.

As has been said above, there are already more popular and better established forums with deeper insight on specific models than is on this subforumm. M3 Cutters, baby bmw, bimmerpost, bimmerforum.

If you had a specific query with your F87, would you ask it here, or on a forum only frequented by other F87 owners?

The irony of your post when i've read the part in bold on this very forum 3 times so far this week is excellent rofl

As kef9 states, modern M Cars are that far removed from the core brand values they have no interest to me, I prefer driver involvement to letting a car do everything for me.

PH is a Porsche circle jerk now, although I seem to recall the M sub-forum of PH was pretty dead even 10 years ago - used to post under a previous long-forgotten login at the time and wasn't exactly drowned in responses.

Facebook groups is the answer generally. I don't use this forum much for asking questions as it's very unlikely anyone will have the answer to them given that my car is a 17 year old M5, and that's not how things are done around here any more.

Don't sweat it.

If your posts under a previous login were anything like as bad as your current posts are, it's no surprise that you got few responses. The current M5 is state of the art and without doubt the best M5 BMW have ever made and are absolutely faithful to their core values. You claim you like "driving", but you can choose exactly how much "driving" you want to do in the current M5, have you actually been near one? Pathetic.

What are you actually doing hanging around here? Looking for where the 20th century went? loser

Latest cars are great, but I do miss my 1995 3.8. It was just so different to drive compared to everything else at the time. A real Q car.
Anyway back to my slippers...

Ridiculous. Please provide evidence. I have hardly seen any G series cars on the road. They clearly have not sold in the same numbers as the F series cars fir good reason.

I can buy any car I want. It won’t be a G series BMW.
