We’re onto Hungary, so hot and twisty. Will be an interesting test of the Silverstone upgrades, McLaren and Williams in particular. Russell went well here last year.
The big news, if that’s your thing, is the return of Ricciardo. Perez needs a good weekend.
Here’s to a great race.

The new Pirelli’s will be used, but sets available reduced from 13 to 11...
Hard: 3 sets
Medium & Soft: 4 sets of each.
Each compound will be used in qualifying, thus;
Q1: Hard
Q2: Medium
Q3: Soft
Declared wet: Choice of compound
NB: Perez will be saving the sets of Mediums & softs for the race then.

Thanks once again PiaP, might as well copy and paste ‘MV win’ to save some time, however, I’m sure DR will go well for the rest of the season, after all, it is his job interview for the 2nd RB seat if SP doesn’t massively up his game, Mercedes might go well here if they can get the car balanced, we may even see some overtakes with the DRS shut in this race .
Thanks PIaP. With regards to the poll (in general, as opposed to this race in particular), it feels like we either need 1 option, Max obviously, or to open things up to include others, such as the Mc boys, certainly Lando, or even just An Other.
Essentially, it feel so close and uncertain behind Max that if he doesn’t win, it could be almost anyone else from the midfield upwards. You could also argue that a non Max win, on the balance of probability, is likely to involve an outside influence like weather, a first corner shunt or a poorly timed safety car, which is the same sort of scenario that tends to produce more of a shock win for someone.
Just a thought.

I agree, it's not the best season. It is interesting to see a driver and team at the top of their game- baring mechanical problems Max could win all the remaining races- but it makes it a dull watch, at least for me. I'd like to agree with you Bilb, but I think they've been left behind in recent races by Merc and maybe McLaren.
100%, they have lost the development race and will find it extremely hard to catch up again. I will be surprised if we see Aston on the podium again (ever). Gassing Station | Formula 1 | Top of Page | What's New | My Stuff
