Absolutely fantastic for Murray. Watched the match right until the end. The guy he was playing was no walk over and that is for sure. Ranked 48th in the world and a big hitter by all accounts this was a great result for Murray. His first win (from 2 in total) in a 5 setter which bodes well for the future. He is putting the 'incident' down to a sodium rich drink... he certinaly didn't look like he was struggling like he has in the past!
Henman was really suffering from a back injury... he was lucky to be competing at all as he had to have his match put back so he could even play... I think the result was a foregone conclusion.
And as for Rusedski, well, I think even by his own admission he has been flagging for a couple of seasons now. The drug thing last year certainly didn't help him.
I have my fingers crossed for Murray for the rest of the tournament... These 5 setters will take there toll I am sure but he has overcome a big hurdle by winning his first! A big achievment!
